Mark Jones is an accomplished entrepreneur, philanthropist, and visionary leader dedicated to creating positive change across Dallas and Dallas County. Born and raised in Dallas, Mark’s journey is marked by a deep commitment to service, innovation, and empowering others.
Mark’s experience spans business, housing, and nonprofit sectors. He brings valuable leadership to every role, including his service as Board Chairman of the Frost Farms Neighborhood Association (2019–2022) and as Chairman of the DeSoto ISD Citizen Bond Committee. He also brings insight from serving on the DeSoto Development Corporation Board, where he advocated for small businesses and community-driven growth. Mark’s track record of volunteering and planning underscores his understanding of how to build stronger, more resilient communities.
As President and CEO of Bonton Farms, Mark partners with a dedicated team to expand the farm’s mission: Bonton Farms is more than a farm, “WE grow people.” Together, the staff works to nurture both the land and the community, creating opportunities for health, economic mobility, and hope for neighborhoods throughout Dallas and the county.
Mark's focus as a community leader is on transparency, collaboration, and innovative solutions to improve the metroplex. The goal is to work together to help Dallas achieve urban renewal and inclusive changes centered around people.
