Bonton Farms Welcomes New President & CEO, Mark Jones
The Answer was a FARM
Like seeds planted on a farm, everyone is born with great potential, but their futures depend on the right nutrients. Since emancipation, Bonton residents have been denied essential components to healthy well-being and opportunity. Bonton Farms exists to impact neighborhood nutrients at the root level to empower the community to reach its potential.
VOLUNTEER
Bonton Farms can mobilize volunteers from individuals to groups of 100 or more! Whether you are a corporate group, church, individual or just a bunch of friends who want to do something cool on a Saturday, we have volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful difference.

Tuesday - Saturday 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.
We have volunteer hours Tuesdays - Fridays. If you have any questions or want to inquire about a day please email volunteer@bontonfarms.org.

Yes, absolutely! We welcome group volunteers. Whether you’re coming with coworkers, classmates, friends, or family, we can accommodate groups of various sizes. For smaller groups (under 15), we recommend signing up through our open registration events. For larger groups or corporate teams, we offer private volunteer experiences that can be scheduled in advance. Email volunteers@bontonfarms.org for more details. -
Age 13 is our minimum age for volunteers.
Ages 16 and under must be supervised by a parent or chaperone.

Volunteers help with a variety of tasks like planting, weeding, seeding, cleaning, organizing garden rows, working in chicken coops, compost spreading, and general farm maintenance. Tasks vary by day and season.
