Dawud Mabon is a seasoned accounting professional with over 25 years of experience across the nonprofit, corporate, hospitality, and aerospace sectors. His career began in 1997 as an Accounting Clerk with the J. Paul Getty Trust, where he built a strong foundation in accounting principles and financial operations. 

Dawud’s career path led him into the hospitality industry, where he held key roles as a Property Accountant and Senior Accountant with Hilton and Starwood Hotels. His analytical acumen and attention to detail later took him to the aerospace sector, where he served as a Senior Accounting Analyst at Northrop Grumman, managing complex financial reporting and analysis. 

Following his relocation to Texas, Dawud spent 13 years as Director of Accounting for Cornerstone Baptist Church, where he oversaw the organization’s full financial lifecycle in support of its mission-focused initiatives. In 2022, he was appointed Controller for the Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains, leading financial strategy, compliance, and reporting until May 2025. 

In June 2025, Dawud joined Bonton Farms as Controller, where he now brings his extensive expertise and steady leadership to help advance sustainable, community-driven economic development.
